For patients

Check your medicine in three steps

MedShield is for everyday buyers — not only pharmacists. Before you take a new pack home, take a few seconds to verify it.

Find the code on your pack

Look for a QR code or printed serial on the carton or blister. Ask the pharmacist if you cannot find it.

Scan, dial, or text

Scan with your phone camera, or use USSD/SMS from any feature phone. You do not need a fancy smartphone.

Read the result

Verified means the pack matches registered data. Flagged or not found means do not use it — ask the pharmacy and report it.
